Brookfield WPCA Facilities Plan
A formal sewer utility Facilities Plan is required of each town in CT. This study is done with the oversight of the CT DEEP (Department of Energy and Environmental Protection) as part of a 55% Study Grant. It includes a snapshot of the current condition of the pipes, manholes and pump stations. It also includes a review of current operations. An engineering company from East Hartford, CDM Smith was selected for this work after a review of 3 submissions from leading engineering companies in CT.
Work began Spring 2019 after finalizing the proposal with the State. The Facilities Plan was completed August 2020.
