Commercial Properties Survey Introduction

Brookfield Water Pollution Control Authority

The Brookfield Water Pollution Control Authority (BWPCA) is performing a system wide analysis to better estimate actual sanitary water flows throughout the Brookfield sanitary sewer system. As part of this effort, the BWPCA is also seeking to update their customer records to ensure they have the most up to date information. The information gained from this survey will allow us to better understand actual sanitary sewage flows in the system and will also allow us to better operate and maintain the sanitary sewer system serving the Town of Brookfield.

Also, the program of charging for sewer use by “units” is under review. So, another purpose of this review is to be sure no commercial customer is being overcharged.

To accomplish this goal, we are asking our commercial customers to fill out the attached form and return it to the WPCA by September 20 days in the enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope. For your convenience, a copy of your latest use bill is enclosed for your ready reference when completing the form. If you are a commercial property owner in the Town of Brookfield and have multiple tenants, we ask that you provide a copy of this form to each of your tenants to complete. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Kristi McPadden at 203-775-7319, send an email note to, or respond here on the web.

Your assistance in providing this information is greatly appreciated and will help the BWPCA serve you more efficiently and accurately.  We also ask that you strongly urge your tenants to complete these forms and return them to the BWPCA at their earliest convenience.

Thank you in advance for your assistance,

John Siclari, Director
