The Brookfield Water Pollution Control Authority, an agency of the Town of Brookfield, is seeking proposals from qualified attorneys wishing to provide legal services as general counsel to the Authority. Such services may be provided within the context of a law firm.
The Authority operates a sewer collection system only. Sewer flows are sent to the City of Danbury for treatment. The Authority operates as a stand-alone enterprise. System operations are funded via a system of sewer use, connection and assessment fees paid by property owners connected to or using the sewer system.
This Request for Proposals is made due to the anticipated retirement of the Authority’s current counsel in 2023.
